Michael Bodnyk, Conductor
Michael holds the Bachelor of Science degree in vocal performance from Mannes College of Music, the Master of Church Music degree in choral conducting from Concordia University Wisconsin, and the Master of Arts degree in vocal performance from Hunter College/CUNY. He is currently pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in music education at Boston University.
Carlann Evans, Violinist
Carlann Evans earned her Bachelors degree in Violin Performance from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio studying with Dr. Gary Kosloski, as well as with members of the Cleveland Orchestra. She earned a Master’s degree at The University of Texas at Austin, where she performed with the Austin Symphony and Lyric Opera. After graduating with her Master’s degree, Carlann performed with the Orquesta Sinfonica de Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Spain and the Orchestras in Galicia and Grand Canaria.
Currently, Carlann performs with the Sarasota Orchestra and with colleagues in “Musicians Out of The Box “string quartet, winning a Parents Choice award and Grammy nomination for Children’s Classical Music with the CD entitled “Music Tales”. Carlann has performed in numerous Broadway and Off-Broadway shows at the Asolo Theater and Straz Theater, and is Director of String Orchestras at the Gulf Coast Homeschool Fine Arts Organization.
Carlann has also ventured into other genres with Brian Gurl, singing classics and performing arrangements from Broadway to Jazz. She also plays Irish and Celtic music with Clovers Revenge.
